Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is locked, the Web isn't available
Samsung Galaxy Note II is locked. It invites to enter the Google account because there were "too much attempts to enter graphical key". But the Web is not available, since it doesn't recognize SIM card, or just denies to work.
I tried to factory-reset it:
1) removed battery for some seconds and plugged it in back
2) hold power, volume up and menu keys together for a few seconds
3) an exclamation mark with a phone icon appeared
Read somewhere that I should press volume up, volume down, power and volume down in that order. I pressed. Device rebooted and showed the same locked screen.
It allows nothing but emergency calls, or entering the google account credentials. As I told, the Web is unavailable. So I have no idea what to do.
I also tried the same sequence, but with volume down + power on bootup.
It displayed a blue menu with items:
1) phone full test
2) view test results
3) ... other test stuff
I passed through the tests. Of course, it didn't help. How do I fix it?
Should I flash the ROM (how)?
