Default Rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 2 not hooking up to any bluetooth device.

I've tried several different bluetooth speakers and headsets, but non of them work with my Galaxy Note 2. It says it is connected but the sound plays through the phone speakers. Any suggestions would be great.

BTMono, free at the Play store. (BTW, rooting has nothing to do with Bluetooth.) Run BTMono, run the app that doesn't transfer to the speaker/headset, then press ON on BTMono. (If it was on, press off, then on.)

Unless you have a later version of Android, then check that the devices (in Bluetooth in Connections - press the "gear" for each device") have the media connection enabled. Some devices will only be usable for phone calls (in which case, BTMono will make the media connection for you.)

Ok I had the app already but didn't know how to use it. I did what you said. But when I tried to do it on the default music player it said can't play during a call. On Play Music it will hook up but won't play any music at all. Please send more suggestions.

This worked you have to turn the music on first the use the app. Thank you so much! It works for my headphones but not my bluetooth Philips radio. Anyway to fix that?
