Yeah. Aside from being 20000mah, as compared to the 10000mah Astro 3 I have, that's one of the reasons I purchased. I'll have extra chargers all over the place. The 2500mah keychain charger I got was a little bigger than anticipated, so I was a little disappointed in that.

Many people with the Note 2 picked up the iBolt mount. I got the one that's exactly the same as the one being offered through Monoprice (cheaper on Monoprice). I'm hoping that it'll fit with the Note 3, despite the Note 3 being slightly taller. I'll report back here, when I get my phone next week.

I still wish there were a "dock and go" mount, similar to how Motorola has all of their car mounts. Unfortunately, Samsung went away from that form factor after the Note 1. The Note 1's car dock was awesome looking and I would've loved if they made the same for the Note 2, but instead went with an overpriced universal setup.

For those that missed the 20000mah backup battery charger deal, there's a new deal right now that is extremely portable, with a holster, and the deal is good for 2.5 days

DailySteals.com - Vaas 5200mah charger w/ holster

I was tempted to buy one of these also, but I have the perfect amount of backup batteries for my needs.

Yeah, there's also a universal sticky car mount for smartphones for $8... HOWEVER:

Unless you have $8 to throw away for one, I'd suggest you keep your money. These "as seen on TV" sticky car mounts are notoriously bad: not because the sticky doesn't work, it does, but because the suction cup sticking the whole thing to the windshield doesn't hold very long.

Caveat Emptor

I agree. I think those suction cup things are a disaster for most purposes - though OK for very light satnavs. Otherwise, avoid them like the plague. A phone in its car mount gets some hammering. (Well mine do.)

As someone who purchased the as seen on tv green suction thing, I've had the exact opposite problem.

The suction of the phone part was amazing in the beginning. The windshield part too. But then the phone part lost suction, so it says rinse it off...I did...it was sticky again but for only like two days. Rinse, repeat.

But the windshield part is still sticking...maybe it wouldn't be if it had the weight of my phone on it more often, haha.

Right now, I've got a green non suction decoration in my jeep. :-)

Anyway, I am debating which case to buy. I don't care about it being the slimmest option. Actually, when I got my Note 2, it seemed too thin! However, I don't think I am going to go with the ZeroLemon 9300mAh Extended Battery this time either (I have this on my Note 2 now). It seems too much. So, I am looking for some mid-ground. I had the Outterbox Defender for a phone in the past. It seemed like a good case.

I have given a lot of thought to the S-View cases. While I think it is a very cool concept, I think the "diary"-style with the flap covering the front would get in my way, even more so when actually being used, I think. I know there will be opinions on that...so, let's hear them. I have never used a S-View case before. So, I might be wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.

Other than that, which case do you all recommend? So far I have been leaning toward the Spigen Neo Hybrid or waiting for an Outerbox, but I am very much open to opinions and suggestions for the best protection and feel. Like I said, slimness will not be an issue for me with just a case.
Have you considered SPIGEN? Their cases look attractive and not as uncomfortable in my opininon as S view case.

I was indeed. I was going to buy this one, in fact, but was turned off by all their massive price changes. I am still considering, though. Looking for all feedback too in the meantime.

So, twister recently did a review of the same dock i had purchased for my note 2

Review of Monoprice Car Mount Cradle with charger for Note 2 w/lots of pics!!!

For those of you not familiar, twister has done some amazing reviews of different mobile accessories. Nonetheless, I wanted to post info on here to let people know that I received one of the ultra thin cases i purchased from ebay and so far, it seems like the car dock will work with the note 3, based on the case having no problem.

Of course, I'll have to update once i have the phone. The one thing I can confirm for sure is that it definitely won't work with thicker or bulky cases.

The t-mobile store on Newbury street has the Tech21 impactology polycarbonate rear sliding cover for 34.99 and a 6 pack of screen protectors for 16.99. That's it and that's way to costly. Off to check the kiosks in the Prudential Center/Copley Place.

Nothing at the Street Talk kiosk as you enter from Boylston Street although Tablet Wear a few kiosks up has an invisible sheild HD screen protector they'll install for 25 with a lifetime warranty for 5 dollar replacements. It looked a little to small to me though.

Nothing at Cell Again and the t-mobile authorized dealer kiosks down the Huntington Arcade.

Same for One Stop Wireless down the Back Bay Arcade. on to Copley Place.

Copley Place was a bust. The sole Cellphone specific place the Cellular Accessories kiosk didn't even know this phone had been released.

I just have to keep repeating "Patience is a virtue".

People should definitely pick it up at that price. I barely started using it more often a few months ago, even though I had purchased the day after the Note 2 launched, but wish I took the time to set it up (not a long setup either) early on. Such an awesome product for device mirroring. And when using a launcher with auto-rotate on the homescreens, 10X's better.

Kidigi/monoprice car dock works fine, but if using a case, has to be very thin

Sure is. I have a Motorola Photon (trusty backup phone, which will now be used as a tachometer/boost gauge, using torque and my elm27 OBD II) dock on the left (w/ Proclip/Brodit Base Mount) and Galaxy Note 8.0 mounted using an Arkon Slimgrip holder w/ a proclip/brodit base mount.

I have a few pics that I had posted in the Note 2 forums somewhere. I'll take a pic of the entire setup later today and share up here, once I'm done setting up the Note 3.

I have a huge battery for my Note 2 (which I won't be getting for the Note 3). Are there any extended batteries that actually take up the same amount of space as the standard batteries so that the same cases work? I don't care if it weighs more (more dense). I just want the same cases to work.

BTW, for those of you not participating in the micro USB 3.0 B thread, I posted a link to a couple that I purchased from Amazon. I got 2 cables for $9.99 and they work absolutely perfect with the Note 3. Here's my post about it:

Spec that nobody is talking about...USB 3.0 B

Whoot! Got my Chinese S-View cover order in just before eBay shut down the listing

$17.99 shipped! And just got it in! Let's hope it fits... but it's for the N-9005, which is the LTE version of the Note 3. So it should...

Pic didn't load from Tapatalk, go figure

EDIT: Well, I guess it did!

Pic shows up on my screen on my work PC.

Waiting on mine. At $10.89 shipped, how could I hesitate (although, I'm sure it's a knockoff, similar to one I purchased for the Note 2 before. I wasn't too fond of the flip case before, so we'll see how long this one lasts before I go back to OEM (either naked or super slim case I'm rocking now).

Sounds like we got ours from the same seller.

Mine fits & looks great.

Not sure about the S-VIEW functions though, as for how to get this going.

Any suggestions?

Why is Samsung so freaking slow on accessories? The Crapples drop from their golden tree and everyone and their uncle has an accessory available.

Samsung is dropping the ball BIG TIME.

Well, I can tell you this, folks: IF you have $17 US to throw away, go ahead and buy the Chinese S-view cover. Better yet, I have one to sell you for $15

No, I can't get the stinkin' thing to work. Is there a trick to activating the S-view cover or I am just stuck with a piece of plastic?
