AT&T 2 Week Countdown

note.jpg

2 Weeks Today (or Possible yesterday depending on shipping speed) AT&T pre-orders should start rolling in.

14 Days!

Fourteen is a composite number, its divisors being 1, 2, 7 and 14.

14 is the 3rd discrete semiprime (2.7) and the 3rd member of the (2.q) discrete semiprime family. The number following 14—15—is itself a discrete semiprime and this is the first such pair of discrete semiprimes. The next example is the pair commencing 21.

The aliquot sum σ(n) of 14 is 10, also a discrete semiprime and this is again the first example of a discrete semiprime having an aliquot sum in the same form. 14 has an aliquot sequence of 6 members (14,10,8,7,1,0) 14 is the third composite number in the 7-aliquot tree.

Fourteen is itself the Aliquot sum of two numbers; the discrete semiprime 22, and the square number 196.

Fourteen is the base of the tetradecimal notation.
In base fifteen and higher bases (such as hexadecimal), fourteen is represented as E.

Fourteen is the sum of the first three squares, which makes it a square pyramidal number.

This number is the lowest even n for which the equation φ(x) = n has no solution, making it the first even nontotient (see Euler's totient function).
14 is a Catalan number, the only semiprime among all Catalan numbers.

Take a set of real numbers and apply the closure and complement operations to it in any possible sequence. At most 14 distinct sets can be generated in this way. This holds even if the reals are replaced by a more general topological space. See Kuratowski's closure-complement problem.

Fourteen is a Keith number in base 10: 1, 4, 5, 9, 14, 23, 37, 60, 97, 157...

Fourteen is an open meandric number.

Fourteen is a Companion Pell number.

The cuboctahedron, the truncated cube, and the truncated octahedron each have fourteen faces. The rhombic dodecahedron, which tessellates 3-dimensional space and is the dual of the cuboctahedron, has fourteen vertices. The truncated octahedron, which also tessellates 3-dimensional space, is the only permutohedron.

Number 14 is a Karmic number and these people need to learn independence, self-initiative, unity and justice. Their great need in life is to achieve balance, harmony, temperance and prudence. If they act cautiously they can be fortunate in money matters or changes in business. They have the motivation to make a success in anything they do. They are warm and creative and have a great deal of natural wisdom.

This number is one of everlasting movement and brings trials and dangers from a great variety of experiences. These people sometimes experiment for the sake of experience. Such behaviour may lead to chaos, but their aim is to try for progressive change and the final joy of renewal and growth.

And yes, waiting is the hardest part!

Kudos, very well done!

As a numbers guy myself I must say I enjoy Wolfram MathWorld, it's one of my favorite sites.

GSMArena has been my favorite mobile phone site since the pre-smartphone days. Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't seen that report.

13 days!

Speaking of 13, a week ago today it was Friday the 13, and flight 666 was departing Copenhagen for Helsinki (airport code HEL). So there was literally a flight 666 to HEL on Friday the 13th!

Stewardess, I'll have another drink please!

I would not be surprised if ATT ships their Note 3 earlier than 1 October - but then again I am wishful thinking

10 dayyyssss

Weather forecasts are often 10-days, so it means Note 3 release is now meteorologically predictable! Of course the weather person is usually wrong, so I don't know what that means for us.

Lists are usually Top 10s, who knows why.

And a Google image search turns up some interesting 10 day pictures.

They should ship prior assuming they have them..typically pre orders arrive ON that day date, and no later than 2 days after.

I was the first to pre order at my local Best Buy and REALLY liking these rumors that we may be able to pick them up Friday.

I must say I haven't been this eager to get my hands on any particular smartphone for some time. But then again none of them have been this close to my ideal phone.

Then to make matters better, or worse depending on how you look at it, I bought an S4 to see how I liked it. WOW... sums it up in a word.

Now I'm really excited, especially for the larger size display, and enhanced S-Pen functionality
