I've got that same one coming to me via post. It should be here Some time before Halloween. I'll let you know how it goes. Meanwhile, someone on the previous page has some nice photos and a mini review of it. Doesn't sound bad to me but I'll find out soon enough. It can't be any worse than the over priced junk I bought from the AT&T store.

Well I looked through the Amazon reviews and someone said you have to fit it in one piece rather than 2 and then the problem doesn't arise.
However I will wait for your word first

As far as I could gather he meant that the (metal?) rim was separate from the back and it was trying to install them in 2 parts caused the problem.

Default Review of two cases

I first bought a case advertised as: [Non-Slip] SPIGEN Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Slim [Ultra Fit] [Smooth Black] Rubbery Feel Non-Slip Grip Matte Hard Case for Galaxy Note III. It was good quality but a bit too slippery for my liking. Did not feel rubbery at all. Also the power button had a raised bump rather than a cutout and I found myself having a bit of trouble using it at times.

So I ordered this case from Amazon: "Yousave Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Black Silicone Gel Cover". This one is not quite the quality of the Spigen, but is a bit less slippery and easier to use the buttons as they have cutouts. It also does not give the appearance of offering as much protection.

The case I had for years on my old Samsung Charge was perfect but I don't know what it is. It did not have cutouts for the buttons, but it was a softer material than the Spigen so it was easy to push the buttons. It was also a softer, more silicon like material, offering more cushioning and a better grip. Guess I will keep looking.

This case advertised on ebay Samsung Galaxy Note 3 9000 SGP SPIGEN Slim Armor case PC High Quality Note 3 | eBay
is a cheap knock off of Spigen, essentially identical except for the logo. I have been thinking about buying one but am a bit uncomfortable about encouraging this kind of thing.

Yes, scroll back on page about halfway up and find my user name - I've posted a lengthy review with photos. My fits very well. The case is two piece, an outer rubber shell that the phone sits in and then the plastic colored ring that snaps around the rubber shell. Fitment on mine was excellent.

One person complained about the buttons being 'loose' and they are, but that's because they are floating. They are supposed to be loose. I think it's a decent case for the money, well made and will provide the protection it is designed to provide.

Check out my photos, the fit is excellent, all the cutouts are very well done.

My case's issue was with the phone fitment inside the rubber case. When you went to press any of the side buttons, or grip the screen with your finger to move it, it had wiggle room on all sides. This wasn't a problem dealing with improper installation and what not. It's not hard putting a case on. It's pretty obvious when a case designed for a phone is too large for it. I probably had one of the first batches that were made with mock-up specs before the Note 3 was released. I make this assumption because the outer plastic ring fir the rubber shell perfectly while the Note 3 had wiggle room inside. It's really annoying when you go to press one of the side buttons, and the phone isn't close enough for the button to press. Spigen sent me another notification stating that they had another batch available, but I wasn't interested anymore.

I see what you mean! I couldn't decide either!! I like the look and texture of the black 'leather' but that gold is just a little too yellow and looks fake. If they made it lighter or maybe a satin like the Neo Hybrid I posted photos of then it might work better.

On the same page there's a Carbon Fiber/Chrome one that I think looks better and would especially look better with the white model. The price is right. It's a pretty simple design though, very minimal, and would provide quite enough protection for me. I really need a raised surface in the front to counter damage to the screen.

Mine has finally shipped as well, should be here tomorrow. I like their products and I realize a lot of people felt jerked around with the way they marked them 'shipped' in Amazon, but it took 4 days or more before any tracking info posted. I'm hoping ours come from the second batch of cases

Yup, got my notification too. It sounds like the container finally cleared customs and they got their shipment in the warehouse and filled orders. So this would be the latest batch of what is available. (I kind of have to wonder if the shutdown didn't have something to do with getting imports cleared.)

And another thing worth mentioning about the Neo Hybrid case is that the rubber part of the case is not soft and flexible as one might expect, so it's not about it being stretched or something. It's actually a pretty stiff hard plastic with a soft feel, similar to rubber. I also noticed that the plastic band can make it pretty hard to grab the phone off a flat surface...especially if your hands aren't oily.

So, I've been searching for another ultra slim case that maybe added a little more protection to the top and bottom of the phone and came across this one:

Ultra Slim White TPU Cover Case Film for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005 VWSB052 | eBay

What I liked about this one is, it covers the top of the phone (while being the thinnest coverage that I've seen) and also covers a small portion of the bottom, to keep the "ultra slim" form factor.

What I plan on doing is, as soon as the "custom skins" are available for order, I'll purchase one of those and put it on top of this case. I'm so glad I cancelled my order for the OEM wireless cover replacement. The additional thickness would prevent any cases like this from being used.

@drexappeal

Yup! Sunsky was my S3 case fix. I junkied (ordered) around 25 cases in different styles and including shipping it came to about $45.00. Just like women and their shoes - a man and his cellphone can never have too many cases to change the look every few days. Gets boring wearing the same one everyday. Hell, 1 case at VZW will cost you $19.95 plus tax.

Now keep in mind everyone - you have to be patient to get these because they take a while to receive sometimes. It can be 2 weeks and it can be 1 month. You just have to order them and forget about them.

I couldn't edit my thread for some reason earlier but here's the better link with 13 pages of choices:

SUNSKY - Galaxy Accessories Note III / N9000 Case China Electronics Wholesale and Drop Shipping , Factory Price Online, Discount Buy in Case "

P.S. I just noticed your from LA so you may get it a little faster because it's shipped just across the pond from you.

Oh wow...I both hate and love you for posting that site. I'm an admitted accessory addict and this site could prove to be such a bad thing for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience with them. Already looked through a bunch of things on there and saw a few cases that I wanted to test out.

Hey, It'll be your junkie fix now too! Just think, now you can go online to cop another case or two.

ALSO, think inexpensive X-mas presents because Sunsky.com and DX.com carries alot of different stuff. If you order now, you can probably get everyone a present for less than $100.00 and have in time for the holiday.

Lol... for real. Almost wish you posted earlier. Could've saved some cash. Unbelievably, there is a kickstand case that is one of the thinnest i've ever seen.

I no it was a ways up there but i just received my Spigen neo hybrid yesterday. It seems to fit perfect for me. It was kinda snug the first time i put it on, Although the next day i removed it to apply my iloome screenmate flex that came in and it fit rather well.

Hey case people... need some advice. I posted a few pages back regarding my initial impressions of the S-View case, and I really can't decide whether or not to keep it after a week.

I do love the functionality the window offers (the quick camera is really nice).

BUT... I also can't get used to holding the thing with the door folded back... it's just kind of uncomfortable for regular use. That, and it was $60 (silly).

So... do I keep it and just switch out covers once in a while (and just buy a ton from the Chinese site above?!).

Thanks!

I picked up the Spigen Ultra-slim case for my Note 3. Had it on for about a week.

I am definitely happy as it is VERY slim and only adds about 1mm to the front edges and just enough to the back to cover the camera. I lay my phone face down a lot and that 1mm protects the screen. I do not feel this case will offer much protection if dropped - some but not much. It's pretty hard so it wouldn't disperse the impact energy.

My only complaint is that the bottom edge (cutout around the charging port) is sharp. When I hold my phablet in portrait mode, my thumb usually rests on the bottom to support it. It's a very thin edge and is a bit sharp on my thumb.

One big plus is that the case does not cover much of the bottom or top of the phone. This allows the elegant 'metal' edges to show and retains some of the beauty of this phone.

After a long night/day's work, I came home to find a surprise: A second Spigen Neo Hybrid case was delivered to my house. I'm not sure why this was sent, because I wasn't told they would ship another back to me, especially since I got refunded for the first one, but I have it here. I probably shouldn't have opened it, but my curiosity got the best of me. I tested it out, and it fits perfect. The one I had ordered was white, and this one is silver, so I'm wondering if this was given to me by mistake. I sent them an email. I don't like taking stuff I didn't pay for, plus, I've gotten too used to the clear case. I regret opening it, but I just had to see if both had fitment issues. I'm happy to say that it fits like a silky glove...sturdy, and the button movements are perfect, with no slop. The band still makes it a little harder to hold due to its slippery finish, though.

Default Great Case

I have a Verizon Note 3, and purchased a Tech 21 Impact Tactical Smokey case from the T mobile website. It is an awesome case if you are looking for a TPU case that has grip but does not stick in your pocket, and offers protection. This is a matte gray case with a slight orange band showing through around the edge of the phone. There are several other models coming the Tech21 website

I tried to post a link, but it will not let me since I do not have enough posts..... Just look on T mobiles website, or tech21dotukdotcom/product/samsung_galaxy_note_3_case_impact_tactical_smokey

I got mine yesterday as well. It does fit perfectly and while there is a small amount of play on the power button, it certainly isn't bad and doesn't affect the functionality of the button. I actually like the grip of the case compared to the phone with no case. I have somewhat big hands so the case, for me, makes it easier to handle the phone. I'm sure that point will differ for a lot of people. Although I had to wait a week, I'm very pleased with this case.

The Seidio active case is finally available. What does everyone think about this case? It is either this case or the Otterbox Defender. There is also a holster available for the active case and is not quite as large as the Otterbox. Interesting to hear everyone's thoughts. I have posted the link to the Seidio active case below:

Thanks for the heads up. I am thinking of returning my Spigen Slim Armour case for this. My Spigen case near the S pen is "sharp"/bothersome.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Cases | Ballistic Case Co.

Has anyone purchased one ?

Im waiting to get a better deal as I have a cheap crap case already, but ballastic is likely going to be my choice

I put one on my Galaxy S4, I like the looks, but it picks up a huge amount of pocket lint (even after cleaning my pockets). My all TPU Spigen Bounce Case doesn't pick up any pocket lint and its quality is superior.

Got home and to my surprise, there was my package. (Insert King Missile reference here.) Opened it up.... wrong color. Ordered through Amazon and filed a claim through them. Hoping to hear back from them.

I ordered the yellow Spigen Neo Hybrid Case and they sent the champagne instead. No offense but I'm still sick of seeing that color after every point and shoot and ambiguous sedan has been made in that color.

I still cracked it open to see how it fit though. Overall, I think it could be a bit snugger but it does fit pretty well. When it isn't on the phone, it doesn't feel like it is all that much but amazingly it does add to the dimensions enough once on to be noticeable. I felt like the buttons felt reasonable to me. The S-pen does end up feeling extremely recessed in there but not much anyone can do about that. It still comes out pretty easily.

Overall, I think it is well worth the price. I think if you get a color you like, it'll just feel and look natural.

Is the cut out around the S pen smooth? They are sharp around my Slim Armor. I am debating getting the neo hybrid

I had the same issue. The case fits loosely and the spen impossible to remove because the hole is too small.

Default Better than what I've heard

In the very beginning I've always wanted the Neo Hybrid Spigen case and have read so many reviews for it. I had bought a couple of temp cases waiting until I could get one. I started getting worried however with all the posts I've seen where people were having problems with their case.

Today I was out and about just doing some shopping and I passed by a shop that sells cases. As I joke I asked my daughter to take a peek inside to see if they had the case I was after and to my surprise they did. With some reluctance I bought it.

I can tell you it took me all of 30 seconds to apply the case and it fits perfectly. There are no problems for me at all. I have no loose places and the s-pen is still easy to take out. I love the look and feel of it. It looks way better to me in person than the pics I've seen online. I'm really impressed with it.

TL : DR

I find that it looks and feels great without any drawbacks. I bought it in a store so I didn't have any problems with shipping.

Got a case from Accessories Arena on Amazon today. This less than $10.00 case fits well. All the cutouts line up with no problems and I really like the vertical kickstand concept. This case has a two piece hard plastic inner liner with a rubber herringbone textured outer layer. The color seems a little off though. It looked really red on the web but it looks orange to me. The grippiness is good but it will take some getting used to since I've been using the iBlason case with the soft rubber inner layer. I'll post some pictures tomorrow night.

I wouldn't say there are sharp cuts, as there are sharp design angles around it, but it's not smooth. I would never consider it a problem, even though I always use the S-pen.

I've been using my Neo Hybrid for a week now. It's a great case. It fits well and feels good on the phone. Plus it looks very nice in red. I don't have any of the issues being talked about.

Regarding the Spigen Slim tR..

I have this and installed it without issue. The only problem I have with it, is that some cases are not compatible with it. For instance the seisio surface. The fit is just too tight and it is lifting the edges of the screen protector.

Other than that it is awesome.
