Default Degrees

Anybody know how to get a "degrees" symbol out of the Note 3 keyboard?

Yes I know you can do it with Android File Transfer. First remove Kies altogether.

Not sure about the stock Android keyboard, but SwiftKey has the degree symbol.

Press numbers, then characters. Should be about the middle of the keyboard.

The Note 2 has the degree symbol () symbol under the 'SYM' (Symbol) key, and then on Page 2. There is a key inside the SYM page that shows '1/2' or '2/2' that lets you see the second page of expanded symbols.

Occasionally on some phones there are extra symbols, some not even on the SYM page, that can be accessed when you long press the alpha or numeric keys on the main keyboard screen.

Can it maybe be drawn and recognized via the S-Pen?

That is not to say that things have not changed for the Note 3, and the degree symbol is not included any longer. As The_Chief mentioned, there are many 3rd party keyboards that will include the symbol you are looking for.

Oh sorted. That 1/2 symbol is exactly there...

Now I can use Google Earth as I want. Thanks.
