Looks like your mobile hotspot is on. Same icon as on my Verizon version.

Looks like you have the mobile hot spot turned on, and a couple of devices using it.

On second thought, shouldn't the wifi icon be off though?

Yep, you're right, turning it on disables wifi. Here it is on mine, with one connection. It's over to the right with the system icons, instead of to the left where the app icons would be.

Edit: Jammy, you should be able to pull the notification panel down, long press on the corresponding message, and select App info.

weird as i only get this icon when its looking for my location but on gp settings can't seem to get it away

Sorry busy watching football, heres the mobile hotspot icon. My phone is rooted with omega rom, not sure its someone to do with the mods.
