Default Vibrates when picked up???

So recently my phone started to vibrate everytime I pick it up. The screen is off and doesn't turn on, it just vibrates, what's going on?

Someone somewhere doesn't seem to understand that some people just don't want the device to vibrate at all, ever, period?
