I have experienced this problem from time to time on my Note. I'm new to Android.

I go into the phone menu and select contacts>search contacts and enter a name. When my contact appears in the filtered lits, I press their name, however, nothing happens. I can't select them no matter what I do. In order to remedy the bug, I need to back out of contacts (effectively closing the process) and try again.

I have tried searching for a solution but haven't seen anyone else describing the same problem I'm having.
