Default root!!!!

Im interested in rooting my phone. Does anyone know the best way to do so? And also i want to unroot when i need to so i can send it back if i need to. I know there's a couple ways to unroot but it leaves a finger print for the manufactuer and tell its been rooted. And also if u guys have yours rooted what are the benefits for the note? Does it make it faster. I know im nite the only one experiencing the lag. Well not really bad lag just not as snappy as the s2. So please let me know guys thanks!
