Default contacts very limited

Compared to my old BB 9700 the Galaxy note is very very limited on info you can add to the contacts list, just name, 1 mobile phone number and 1 email adress (and this is even limited to not enough characters). No place for adress data, second or third email adress/phone number/ mobile number etc etc. Very dissapointed because this should be a business phone.

Perhaps you should ask a question rather than make such a bold and totally inaccurate statement.

I'm sorry, but this is completely untrue. There are all sorts of fields you can add for people, and you can even manage your contacts in gmail!

Let me know if you need any help sorting it out.

Hmmm... some 'interesting' replies. It sounds to me like you've got contacts set to SIM only. If you store contacts on the SIM you can only record a small amount of data per contact.

Ok self teaching I guess :-) I managed to copy my contacts from sim to phone. However that means that when I look in my contact list every contact is double. Is it possible to see only the contacts stored in the phone ?????

Go into contacts, press the menu key, select 'more', 'display options' and select contacts to display from there. Just un-tick 'Sim All contacts'.
