Default In desperate need of help please!

I've been struggling with my galaxy note since I updated it to Android version 4.0.4 ICS. It's an unrooted phone.

Firstly, the issue started with the gallery & media player no longer picks up media files. Which has led me to do a factory date reset (thinking it would be better).

BUT NOW IT HAS GONE SO MUCH WORSE!
Like...
I can't even download any apps because it kept having "Android.process.media has stopped." and "Cannot be downloaded due to an error. (491)"

So basically now I'm stuck with a phone without any apps how great. ):

Please any kind soul any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!

Default O/s 4.0.4

I update to the new version 4.0.4 (Unrooted) as well.

firstly, the screen went bonkers.. flashing all over the place. then i notice when i swipe the screen for the password, there is a streak running across the screen showing the path of my swipe (password). THe top of the screen is showing garbage..

i am new at this but I think i need to resort back to the previous version.

anyone with advice?

thanks

I recommend using PC Odin to flash a stock gingerbread ROM on your device then root it and install clockworkmod recovery and flash paranoid Android ROM on your device and you can thank me later here are a few links with instructions on how to perform the task I mentioned: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997&highlight=how+to+root

Good luck!
