Default Fastest way to charge the galaxy note

Hi, what is the fastest way to charge the Galaxy Note? By AC adapter or through the USB port of a laptop computer? Any other better way appreciated. Thanks.

The quickest way is original USB cable (that came with the Note) and a mains charger (the one that came with the Note or any other rated 1 amp). Plugging into PC USB is slowwwww. Generic micro USB cables are also slower but fine for a spare.

The fastest way is by wall outlet (stock charger) and the phone completely off.

Right, but to not plug/unplug @ infinite i found out it's better plug it in an external USB HUB where:
1. it can charge while it's seen as storage and i can transfer files
2. it can charge itself even when PC off
3. it doesn't overload PC's southbridge

The iPad or Nexus 7 charger. They are 10 watts 2 amps, twice the rating of the Gn's charger, so it will recharge the battery really quickly. And before you ask, no, it will not damage your phone or your battery.
