Default SIM problem

Have you tried a hard reset? How old is the phone? Under warranty still?

I would suggest that you take the phone into your nearest Samsung service centre. Since the phone was released 8 months ago it will still be covered by warranty and the repair should not cost you anything. This way you will not invalidate your warranty or (hopefully loose your settings).

Eric Ritchie.
