Default Where are Wallpaper files stored?

I have a Galaxy Note SGH-I717. Where on the device are the default Lock Screen and Home Screen wallpaper files stored? I have been unable to locate them.

Also, what is the correct resolution for wallpapers on the Note? I have read both 1600 x 1280 and also 1440 x 1280.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums Oglomott.

I would think they are stored on the internal memory of the phone if I'm not mistaken.

Is it possible to access them through the file system?

The built in wallpapers are in an apk apparently. Not sur where it is and if you can mod it without root. There is more information here if you search for it. I found it when looking because I wanted to add wallpapers to the list of available ones without having them in the gallery.
