Default Rooted to Jelly Bean

Hey all,

I am new to the whole rooting thing, but i got my brother to root my galaxy note n7000 for me.

I do like it i love the fun you can have with it esp the google now.

I have a few questions and i apologise if they have been asked already or i have posted in the wrong section.

1. Reading some forums it says i should just be able to say google and the voice search option pops up, where do i do this cause i can click the mic on the google now page and yeah it works but thats not what the forums say they say "if you say 'Google' out loud , the Voice Search option pops up instantly".

2. When i say for instance bbc sport it opens up the link on the web browser, if there anyway of getting it to open up the actual site?

Any other tips would be gr8 ;-)

Battery life depends on many variables. One huge change from ICS to jb that affects battery life is Google now. Its crazy cool, but because it is constantly updating your location battery life suffers. Turn that feature off and its back to normal

Hmm, thought as much. I flashed a jb rom on my old desire hd the other day and the battery was atrocious.

That could be just as much attributed to being bad coding or a sloppy port.

Until its official jb or a very stable bug free rom you can't really judge it since its getting hacked up in the porting process.
