Default Okay dumb question but...

How do I turn the shutter sound off when using the camera? I've looked and had a friend look & just cant figure it out.

There is no way to turn off the shutter sound on the stock phone unless you use a third party camera app.

if you put the phone on silent, there will be no shutter sound.

Yes, that would work, but it maybe somewhat inconvenient to have to silence the whole handset. It would have been better if Samsung had given us the option in the first place, but alas they did not.
