Totally different animal.

Your friend uses high test in his Porsche, and you use regular gas in your Yugo. He gets blazing speeds, so you want to put high test in your Yugo to get blazing speeds too. But it won't work.

ST on Sprint is just slow. If you want more speed get a Verizon phone on ST (or even an AT&T phone on ST). Or go to the carrier directly, not through ST. (IOW, get a prepaid Verizon or AT&T account.)

I have a ST precedent, SCH-M828C, Android Ver. 2.2.2, Kernal 2.6.32.9,
Build #:FROYO.EH03 on sprint. (I'm not sure if the USB cable is the right one should be)
I live in Harford , Maryland, 21047.
Sprint sucks in Hartford. AT&T, and Verizon get good signals. That I know of.
Since I'm seriously a rookie at all this, (root took me for ever)
Can any one suggest some good plr's maybee ones that help me get up to 4g speeds.
My wireless tethering is realy slow like to speed that and the 3/4g.

XPureEvilx thanks so much for starting this I'm such a rookie your advice seem very informed.
Any help appreciated ChrisWard.

If Sprint sucks a Precedent isn't going to do you any good, no matter what you do to it - it runs on Sprint's network. Get an AT&T or Verizon ST phone.

Default confused :/

I am very new to this. I am just trying to boost my service with my new phone. I have had Straight Talk for a few years and just updated to an AT&T HTC Inspire 4G with a Straight Talk SIM and my service is no where what my old straight talk service was. What can I do about it or what do I search for?

I'm sorry if this isn't where I ask this, but I really don't know what to do. I really hope someone can help me, please.

It's not the PRL that determines whether you can use the phone on Cricket, it's the ESN, and Cricket might not allow Boost ESNs on their system.

Try this prl
http://db.tt/w2Mlv0v6
I renamed it test but its 56009. Its a sprint corporate world prl. I live in southern California in the orange county area. Works great and keeps my phone at a good 3 to ful bars and rarely losses 3g.

Thumbs down sprints going down

sprint host vigin mobile, boost mobile, and nextel, but sprint themselve is going out of business, their losing towers, thats why everyone service is getting worse, if you want to fix that do what i did and switch services, i switched to tmobile $30 a month unlimited text and web and 100 min of talk and never had a problem with web, the slowest my web have ever went is 3mb and the fastest i got is 6.5mb, so the best option to get better data is to switch

Could this really be true? I herd metro pcs was bought out by tmobile. Yet tmobile has bad service were im from and so does metro pcs. At&t has H2O prepaid and go phones Verizon has Verizon prepaid and page plus. i think all cell providers share their towers but its the same network. So i don't think that's what's causing bad service i think its all the people on the same service.
The more sprint boost virgin or Nextel customers their are the less or slower data their is to share...
Do i make sense in a way??

I was just wondering, seems like it would be easer
