Ringtones not working

I have a Galaxy precedent, and out of the blue it stopped playing my ringtones. Changed it to default ringtone, and all it does is vibrate when I get a call. Messaging tones work fine, just not the ringtone. Any ideas?

Turn the ringtone volume up. If you turn it to 0 it goes to vibrate. (It's too easy to pick it up by the down volume button and decrease the ring volume one notch every time you pick it up.)
