Default Deleting items at top of Yahoo mail.

When checking my Yahoo email, there is a black bar below the information bar at the very top. i.e. 3G, antenna bars, etc.
On that second bar lives: inbox (0) - .net passport - bulk mail. These are good and I won't touch them.
But there is a contact name there that I have deleted both from my main computer and my cell phone but it still shows.
How do I rid of that for good?

sorry, can't help u.

only posting to say I am thinking of deleting my Yahoo mail app, I think it might be a battery drain.

It seems to constantly check for new emails w no settings limit.

Yahoo mail - settings (main phone settings) - mail, check frequency - CHANGE SETTINGS TO NEVER

I did that with both my Yahoo and Hotmail.
If I want to check the mail, I will force check it myself. The battery lasts almost two days now.

I do not have that option, running shabbymod .9

seetings>applications>manage applications>mail>force stop

or accounts & sync>off are my only options.

I remember the settings you mention and I believe they disappeared when I installed shabbymod.9, I may post this issue there.
