Default Work Email on my prevail

I would like my work email on my stock Prevail. Is this something I can do on my own or do I have to give my phone to our IT Dept? Thanks!

OK. Stupid question #2. What info do I need? Or I will try to search for how to do it and what i need if I get a min. Its pretty busy right now here

Got a min and found this on the Samsung site. it seems simple I know most if not all that info myself or know where to find it. THANKS!!

Synchronizing Your Corporate Account

1.Press the Home key
2.Press the Menu Key
3.Tap on Settings
4.Tap Accounts & sync
5.Tap Add account.
6.Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
7.Follow the onscreen prompts to create your new Corporate email account.
8.Any changes or updates to your Corporate/Outlook account are automatically updated to your device.
To configure the Corporate management settings:


1.Press the Home key
2.Press the Menu Key
3.Tap on Settings
4.Tap Accounts & sync
5.Tap within the Corporate account field to reveal the account's synchronization settings
screen.
6.Tap the parameters you wish to synchronize.
◦Account settings allows you to configure the current email account settings such as:
¡áGeneral settings allows you to configure:
¡áAccount name displays the name used by the device to track the account.
¡áYour name displays the name used in the From field within your outgoing emails.
¡áAmount to synchronize to assign the sync range for your incoming and outgoing emails between your device and your external exchange server. Choose how many days worth of emails the Galaxy Prevail¢â and server should synchronize. Choose from: One day, Three days, One week, Two weeks, or One month.
¡áDefault account assigns this account as the default used when sending out new emails.
¡áOut of office settings Configures your out of office notifications.
¡áEmpty deleted items Allows you to delete your email account's trash bin remotely.
¡áSync schedule Allows you to configure your email sync schedule.
¡áEmail size Configures the incoming email size allowed to pass through to your device automatically without user interaction. Larger emails will have to be retrieved manually.
¡áNotification settings allows you to configure:
¡áEmail notifications enables the device to display a status bar icon when new emails have been received.
¡áSelect ringtone assigns an audible ringtone when a new or upcoming event is pending.
¡áVibrate assigns a vibration when a new or upcoming event is pending.
¡áServer settings allows you to configure:
¡áIncoming settings provides access to the Domain, password, and exchange server
parameter fields.
¡áSync contacts synchronizes the contacts between your device and the remote exchange server. A green checkmark indicates the feature is enabled.
¡áSync calendar synchronizes your exchange calendar entries between your device and the remote exchange server. A green checkmark indicates the feature is enabled.
¡áSync calendar history assigns the calendar sync period.
¡áCommon settings allows you to configure:
¡áAdd signature: Activates the email signature feature.
¡áSignature allows you to create an outgoing email signature attached to new emails sent from your device

I got it done. All I needed was one pc of info from our IT dept. Cool now I can be bothered 24hrs a day instead of only 12hrs a day. IDK how good of an idea this this LOL.. Its gonna save my rear and put it in danger at one time or another. THANKS ANDROID FORUMS!!!!
