First off I wanna thank all devs for the hard work. I'm running CT 3.3 on fa19 with blueME theme.
I was wondering if there was a torrent download app that works like utorrent on my computer? This would be a great way to download movies for free on this phone.

I know that Boost mobile is unlimited but that just might end up eating up your battery at the least. I've used a torrent client to download comics. Didn't go so well. The torrent client did fine. It downloaded correctly but reading a comic on the Prevail's screen is not exactly optimal.
There are also clients that control your torrent client remotely. You have your desktop at home setup to download torrents. The phone connects to the desktop/laptop remotely and you can start downloads, stop downloads, stop sharing etc from your phone.
That might be more up to par for what you're looking for. But you have both options. Boost Mobile's TOS states that it is unlimited but not unreasonable... they also state that any form of "streaming" is not allowed. YMMV.
On a side note my buddy is on Simple Mobile a TMobile MVNO. His internet got shut off till the next billing cycle. Customer service didn't give us a specific reason other than looking up the TOS but you can look up usage information from their automated machines. I found out that he had used 4000+ minutes and his data usage was at 3gb. This was 4 days from his billing cycle date. Just FYI.

Atorrent works nicely..
I have also used utorrent remote and it works nicely as well... I would be on my lunch break and look for something to watch and download it to my pc.. got home and there it was..
Here's what my problem is, I crashed my laptop trying to put a game on it, a few months ago, so I bought my prevail and started playing around with it. I was downloading with my computer then watching the movies on my PS3, and was hoping to do the same with my phone. Once it's downloaded I was just wanting to put the SD card in the P3 and copy and delete the files. Being able to download and watch them on my phone would be an added bonus I think.
I'll give aTorrent a shot, I think reading e-books on the prevail would also be cool, piratebay has alot of them too.
Got aTorrent running, started downloading Girl With a Dragon Tattoo on it's maiden download

Good to see it worked for you.. I am using a torrent pro and runs nicely... just got the new Shinedown album called Amaryllis..so far not bad..
Unfortunately my speed never went faster than 250 but it didn't take long... could probably snatch a movie in about 30 mins with wifi... but anyways glad you like it..
LMAO ! I was just reading through the thread and came to that and I'm like WTH . Ya know , if you're gonna take the time to write it , at least post it where someone wants to read it .
I use atorrent on my phone to download torrents, I love it and never had a problem with it whatsoever.
Remote torrent downloader on the other hand I use Transdroid. Its the best remote IMO. It also comes with a search function where you search across about 7 torrent sites. The only bad thing is that Google took it off the market so its no longer there but it is on the Dev website if your interested.
I'm not sure what the site is offhand but a simple google search would fix that
I use vuze and isohunt quite a bit on my laptop does atorrent work the same way? Like search ISO then use atorrent to download or just search? Just got it from play store but just curious
The Samsung Galaxy Prevail is an entry level device for Boost Mobile. Unlike some of it's Galaxy S cousins, you wont find some of the higher end "Galaxy S" features and it doesn't have the familiar TouchWhiz interface seen on so m... Read More
