Just got a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Prevail off of eBay. I'm trying to activate it and transfer my information over, and it keeps giving me this error:

"The profile update could not be completed. Please try again later.

If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service.

Error: Connection Error"

I have four to five bars of reception, so I know that's not the problem. I've tried following the instructions to manually activate my phone, and it's still not working. Any other solutions? Cannot call customer service due to not having a phone available at the moment.

Well, seems like you might need to use the phone of a neighbor or friend !! Guess there is no way around it !!

Spent an hour on the phone, and found out the tower was down. It's activated now, though.
