I am finding a lot of leftover data after uninstalling applications and it is taking up a lot of space on my SD card and internal memory. Does anyone know an a way to make sure. everything gets deleted when I uninstall something? also am finding ALOT of 1-5 second sound clips from games (slots especially), how can I prevent these from getting into my mu sic playlists /phone? All very frustrating, pls help.

Never really heard of that before? You can try clearing the data first then uninstall, maybe? Are you rooted or still stock? And Happy Thanksgiving Too!

It can happen when you update or change roms, if you don't reinstall all of your apps with data sometimes the portion on the sd card remains because you haven't actually uninstalled the app, you just didn't restore it to the phone.
I am rooted, but only the first part with installing the Odin program. then installed titanium backup in order to delete factory app's that I would never use. I deleted all sound clips from my music played slots for about 5 min, then looked in my music again and have 11 sounds ranging from 1 - 24 seconds wtheck? ???

What music player are you using? What are the sounds that keep showing up in music? Maybe try a different music player by installing a new one then delete the old one so don't loose music, or put music in a folder on pc, then delete musics data and then put music back in phone. Still might just be the music player?

I am using the factory installed one. I Just looked at the. sound's and list d them by artist so it grouped them together and it looks like they are from Double Down Casino (classic bonus spin :24, classic spin :24,? slotstop 1-5 each :01, all from the miner99er machine) and there are ALOT more than I care to type . does anyone else have this game installed and having this issue, or willing to download it and see?? which music player would you recommend.for me to use?

It could be the settings in the game or the player? I use player pro myself. You can just look at all the ones they have yourself and try a different one. You can try to delete the junk first, then install a new player. After it installs it should auto load all your music, then use titanium and freeze the stock player and then use game and see if trash ends up in new player. Just and idea?

I second that......... Player Pro is the way to go, even if it cost a few bucks... Well worth spent money. They have a free trial as well..... I tried like 15+ players, all of them had pros and cons....Play Pro turned out to be the most complete and best working one for me. Maybe another alternative would be BSPlayer......
The Samsung Galaxy Prevail is an entry level device for Boost Mobile. Unlike some of it's Galaxy S cousins, you wont find some of the higher end "Galaxy S" features and it doesn't have the familiar TouchWhiz interface seen on so m... Read More
