Default Upgrading flash card

I started to upgrade my flash card to one with more storage, I used my PC to copy the files to the new flash card, but I got an error saying several of the file names are too long to copy. I am running win8. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you are copying from the old SD to a folder on your PC. I'd suggest copying from SD directly to the new SD... SD readers are dirt cheap if you don't have a second SD reader in your PC.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was doing. I will have to pick up a second card reader and then try copying directly between the two sd cards.

Didn't think about this earlier, but another option (although much slower) is to zip the files into an archive on the PC and then unzip them back unto the new card.
