Default gps doesnt work or takes forever to lock on


I need feedback on the gps app I turn on all the services necessary however only a few times did it work..it basically doesn't do what its supposed to..

does anybody else experience this problem also?

Maybe there are not enough mobile network nodes to locate you.

Try it on different places, if you are on crowded (thus better covered) area and it's still not working, then you can blame your phone.

You may want to install some apps that give you statistics about your networks (open map signals or others - http://www.androidauthority.com/best-android-apps-boost-mobile-network-wi-fi-signal-88850/)

I haven't used it much but when I have it seems to work just fine

I haven't had any problems with the GPS at all. In fact, it works just as well as the GPS did in my Galaxy Nexus on Verizon.
