Preloaded Apps

Is there anyway to remove the preloaded apps on the galaxy s 4g? I dont use half of them and hate having them on the apps menu. or at least a way to hide them?????

If you use LauncherPro, it gives you the option to hide apps, that way they don't appear in your app drawer. Otherwise I think the only way to remove them is if you are rooted.
