Q: General Android phone FAQ's?
A: Here is a thread on general Android Phone FAQ's

Q: How can I improve my battery life?
A: First off, you should read this post: Better Battery Samsung Galaxy S 4G
You do not have to follow all of the tips/suggestions, but the advice is sound and will help. Smartphones operate on a sort of spectrum. On one end you could put battery life, on the other end all those options like wifi/3g/sync (among other things). If you want great battery life you can't have those on all the time. If you want those on all the time, you won't get great battery life. It is best to find the compromise that works best for you and what you want most out of your phone.

Q: Are there any Galaxy S 4G Tips & Tricks?
A: Samsung Galaxy S 4G tips & Tricks is a good thread to start... then you can use the "filter by" and select "Tips" in the sub-forum, you will get many other useful tips and tricks.

What are some of the problems people have with their Galaxy S 4G?
A: For any problems and their solutions, if you use the "filter by" and select "Support" in the sub-forum for useful information.

Q: I have a question about how to do something around the forums.
A: Here is a FAQ devoted entirely to that: Android Forums FAQ

Q: What is root?/What does being rooted mean?
A: Here is a post explaining that: What is rooted/does being rooted mean?

Q: How can I fix/replace my screen?
A: This thread has step by step instructions: How to repair Samsung Galaxy S 4G screen

When i received the new update i couldn't keep a charge. Took my phone in and they had to wipe and reset it because something i already had on my nexus didn't agree with the new update or there was possibly a corrupt file. So far so good but i have to load apps one at a time here and there to make sure each app is compatible. Can anyone tell me details or where to find what all the update entailed? so far i am discovering things by accident
