Default Phone dies while playing music

Hello everyone, my name is Gabriel and i'm new both on this forum and as an android user.

i recently bought my first android cellphone, a galaxy s advance (here in Brazil it's called Galaxy s2 lite).

the phone is marvelous, 'm loving the new experience, the problem is, whenever i use the music app (the native one), the phone simply turns off, and to turn it back on, i have to pop out the battery, and repop it again. anyone knows how do i fix that issue?

thanks for all the help

I'd try downloading another music player app, there are plenty of them in the app store.

You should indeed try another music player, a good one is called 'DoubleTwist'.

Are all songs .mp3? Do they work on your computer or other music player devices? Try deleting all songs and make sure they are placed in a music folder in capital letters.

You could try downloading another music song and put that one on your sgs advance to check if the problem could be caused by the songs instead of your device.

If this all doesnt help I suggest to reset your phone, this will erase everything, so make sure to make backups.
