Default Email problem on Galaxy S

I set up my AOL email account on the phone when I got it, and it was working perfectly for several days. Now whenever I try to access my email on the phone I get the error message: " Sorry! The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and " Force Close".

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have a solution?

Otherwise I'm thrilled with the SGS. No lagging whatsoever and lightening quick.

Thanks in advance.

Default Update

AOL mail is working again now. Getting notifications and everything.
I THINK the problem is that it's downloading EVERY email I have had since Lord knows when ( even though I have nothing in my current in box and have deleted all emails on AOL via my PC) and it just seized up for a while.
