Power String: can't change the home setting

Hi,

I have installed Power Strip, and the very first time I was asked to use my preferred home screen, I selected the touchwiz.
What I want to do is to have Power String dock displayed if I do a double click on the home key. I played with the settings but it seems that it doesn't work. When I try to select the home screen in the settings, only the Touchwiz is available.
Any hint?

Will take a look for you, I had it functioning on double press home key, but some interaction occurred with a previous Widget Locker update that made it stop working, I uninstalled since Widget Locker (with No Lock!) is more important for me. Would like to have both working, so was planning to reinstall Power Strip and see if it plays more nicely now that Widget Locker has been updated (and if Power Strip is applied second).

It did take a bit of fiddling to make it work that way from memory, not particularly intuitive, although once I had it worked out it seemed obvious enough...

OK, put Power Strip back in place, seems to be working fine

To set it to open on double click home Make it the default homescreen, then choose your preferred launcher in its settings under Startup Options, then click to remove the tick from One Home Key Click... and your're golden.

Thanks a lot for looking into it!
I must be missing a step.
Here is what I am doing step by step

1/ Open Power Strip
2/ Left key, select "more", click on "home chooser", click on "Power Strip"
3/ At this point, the phone goes back to the TouchWiz home screen
4/ Re-open Power Strip, left click, go to "Preferences", "Startup Options"
5/ Uncheck the "One Home Key Click to..."
6/ Click two times the "back" key, the phone is back to the apps list
7/ Open an app, double click "Home" key.
--> the phone goes back to the TouchWiz home screen, and I don't see the Power String dock

Sounds like you're doing it right, how fast is your double click? You can set the double click speed in Power Strip, maybe slow it down?

Regards all the home switching issues - have you installed Home Switcher? Very easy to change launchers etc with that program.

Thanks a lot for looking into this and following the progress!
I have no home switcher.
I also posted the same question in the "apps" part of the forum and it does seem like I have an issue.

Maybe try installing Home Switcher then and see if it detects Power Strip as a launcher, seems like the problem is tied up with that.
