Default Reading default email client attachment files in android 2.1

I configured email account in android2.1 emulator and download the .docx files from mail attachment I get the path content://com.android.email.attachmentprovider/1/1/RAW

I am invoking the "open" file in email client from my app.

if look into the eclipse file explorer files are stored at path /data/data/com.android.email/databases/1.db_att/1

I tried to read using openInputStream() on ContentResolver , its reading binary data.

how to get the file name of the attachment and and how to access the files both in device and emulator in readable format ?

I have set the permission in manifest as
<uses-permission android:name="com.android.email.permission.ACCESS_ PROVIDER" ></uses-permission>
<uses-permission android:name="com.android.email.permission.READ_AT TACHMENT"></uses-permission>

Thank you.
