Default Galaxy S Android 2.2 Multitouch

Hello everyone,

I upgraded my Galaxy S GT-I9000 to android 2.2 through Samsung Kies (considered official?). But 'multitouch' is not working properly. I am able to zoom into photos and web pages etc. by pinching the screen. But when i drop down the menu (containing notifications and buttons like wifi ,gps etc) half way down and hold it there and try to enable bluetooth, wifi etc. nothing happens. For that i have to fully expand the menu and then use the controls. However, my device does recognise 5 touches simultaneously(Used a multitouch app from the androd market). The same happens while using the applications menu.I don't think that happened when i had 2.1 on it (had it for a very short time). Any solutions?

That's just the way it's programed. Nothing that you can do to change it.

That, actually doesn't mean that multitouch isn't working. That means the buttons aren't activated before you fully drop the menu.
