phone not accepting calls/barring
I've searched a bunch of threads on here with no answer so perhaps it is a user error (me) . However, for the last three days I can not receive any calls. I can make them, SMS/text works in and out. WiFi is fine... Running Froyo 2.2.1
When someone else calls, the phone goes to a black screen, shudders/vibrates 2x, and then the "no service , o with a slash" comes up on the top. I get no "missed call" notification and the caller is informed "call barred", they don't get to go to voice mail even.
I checked "call barring" and it is disabled. I tried to see if "reject calls" was on ,but then I get the error message "Application Call Settings (process.com.sec.android.app.callsetting) has stopped unexpectedly."
Three days ago I was uninstalling a bunch of stuff to help save the battery life. Is it possible I uninstalled the "answer the phone" component??? Is this even logical?
Any ideas welcome. It would be nice if the phone function of my phone worked, eh?
