Default tethering force close on ATT captivate
since GB download tethering manager force close comes up when charging with usb cable. Only solution I have heard about is factory reset. However, that will erase all info on phone. Any other options? Thanks

Try applications> manage apps> clear data /cache for force close apps

I am having the same problem with my captivate. Unfortunately this did not work for me...

I had the very same problem, I found that turning bluetooth on fixed the problem for me. I have no idea why this works, but it does.
