Samsung Galaxy S (This device not supposed by Kies)
Hi everyone,
I have had my Samsung Galaxy S for about a year and a half and I have never upgraded its firmware. I heard about Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich and I was interested on upgrading the firmware. I have always just transferred media and photos to/from my Mac by plugging in the USB and turning on the mass storage.
I downloaded Samsung Kies today for MAC and when I connect my device I get the following error: This device not supposed by Kies. I have tried rebooting my device, removing the SIM card and rebooting, turning on and off USB debugging, and changing the USB to PDA by inputting a sequence of numbers into the dial pad to no avail.
Please, please, please, is anyone able to help? Thanks!
