Default twlauncher keeps stopping, no cache data to delete

I have a sprint galaxy s, kinda old, but i tried to clean up my home screens, then i restarted it, and now i'm stuck in the endless twlauncher stopping loop, and I can't do anything with my phone. So i went to the google play store from my computer, installed Go Launcher to my phone, so when I hit the home button i can have it run Go Launcher instead of twlauncher.
I'd really like to use my twlauncher again, without having to completely reset my phone. I read that if you go and clear the cache for twlauncher that will solve it, but that option is grayed out as it say my cache is 0.00B in size.
Any other ideas how i can get twlauncher working without completely resetting my phone?
