Default Phone gets switched off automatically

Hello All,

I could not find my problem or solution to my problem on this forum so thought of putting my concern here.

Since past few days my phone is acting weird. It automatically goes to dead mode(Switch off). But it also displays 'SAMSUNG' word same like we see when we reboot the phone and it flashes 'SAMSUNG' word. But in this mode, my phone never gets rebooted and it keeps on showing same screen flashing 'SAMSUNG', in turn consuming battery. I tried to switch off in this mode. But i could not succeed for even one time.

I have to remove battery completely then have to restart phone everytime.

I have not installed any application in this month so i am not sure what is causing my phone to have this problem. Is it battery problem? or any application is causing this problem?

I have bought this phone in Jan2012

I request you to help me for this problem.

Welcome to the forums, Manumb_6!
Sorry to hear about your problem. Sounds like you're experiencing a bootloop and a battery pull is the only way to properly boot. I'd suggest giving a factory reset a shot.

Hi Again,

Thank you very much for your reply. But i tried factory reset also and it did not help me. 15 min after i reset factory, phone went to same idle 'Samsung' flashing mode.

Any other setting you want me to check/change in phone?

Thanks Again
