Unhappy Help on Connecting MHL HDTV Adapter

I need help. I bought a Rocketfish MHL HDTV Adapter to connect my Galaxy S2 to my flat screen TV, and followed all the direction, even watched someone set theirs up on a how to youtube video but it still doesn't work. Can anyone give some advise on how to resolve this?
