Happy Just bought the SII, WOW !!!

I absolutely love the phone coming from the ZTE WARP which did nothing but freeze and reboot. And I went through 5 of them ! Yes 5 !.

The SII runs flawlessly, fast and smooth with Jellybean to boot. And bonus, my area gets 4g by March as verified by our local Boost store and Boost corporate.

Looking forward to being part of your forum!

Here is one JB build; these are unrealesed and supposed to be internal testing ROMs.

the ROMs FK23, FL04, FL16 and the newest GA10 are all Jellybean. They have Sprint labeling instead of Boost, but work just fine.

Don't want to disappoint you but I bet that Boost is talking about 4G LTE coming soon and the S2 is not compatible with LTE. The S2 will work with 4G wimax, but Boost/Sprint is not expanding the wimax network any more.

If I'm wrong, somebody let us know.

That's right. Sprint is no longer expanding WiMax, only LTE which is not compatible with the S2. So if they're talking about getting 4G to a new area, most likely it's LTE

No comparison eh? You can actually run more than one app at the same time!

My first few days of having it I was streaming internet radio, running gps/Nav apps and searching for food on Google local. Oh and "iOnRoad" recording dash cam video during the drive. For the record my wife was driving! The Prevail was a great little phone but 2+ apps simultaneously would bring it to its knees!

Well the little Prevail has like 1/4th the power of the SGS2. I did speed up my prevail though without over clocking. I ran honeybread 6 on it and then used chainfire 3d to drop the display to a 16bit image (no noticeable difference in image quality but makes the phone much faster). My SGS2 still just blows past it..

This phone has LTE options in the hidden menu, but it lacks the radio to run it.With that said I can only say I hope that means we will get the S3 and LTE on boost.

Default Stoked to be part of the club!

Just picked up my SGS2 this morning on the way to work... I have had it for about an hour and a half, and my obsession with it is great lol. This phone is amazing! I had originally purchased the ZTE Warp Sequent... I am sure I don't need to tell you how badly that phone sucked.
I do not have 4G in my area, but the phone still smokes the Warp Sequent even on 3G speeds.
Absolutely love this thing
