Is there case with open back?

Is there a case with a open back so the s2 can breath? It got up to 117F. I put it in the freezer for minute? or is it still gonna get hot with open back or not?

I've never seen an open back style case. Nothing you couldn't do with a hard case and a dremel thou. Should be easy.

If it was open it would get hot. But it would be much less severe.

I'd skip on the freezer method next time. You can get condensation inside the phone which will cause a lot more serious problems in the future.

That's warm but what were the conditions? Was it charging at the time?

Spin your battery and be sure it's not getting swollen.

just take it out and just spin it like a penny? just reading CNN and speedtest. When I let slackers run for a long time does not get that hot?

Just lay it flat on a table. The idea is to see if it's swollen. If it's perfectly flat (like it should be) it shouldn't spin. Overheating can cause the battery to swell and warp so it's just something to check to make sure the battery is ok in regards to any heat issues.

it is perfectly flat, but it did spin but not like a penny that keeps going?
