Default Battery info

this could be a silly question so i apologise if it is .....

in batterycalibration app it reads current charge 42%, 3755mv


surely the mV should be lower than that if ive only got 42% battery left ?

any shed some light on this

Batteries always attempt to output a specific voltage, in our case 3.7V. They store chemical energy and convert that to electrical via a reaction. The 42% therefore really refers to how much of that potential energy remains. Even at 1-2% the battery will still output ~3.7V.
