Default 2.3.4 messing about

At first I never really had any issues, but a week or so later and the problems have started,
  • Random turn offs
  • turned of today and wouldn't come back on had to remove battery
  • music randomly stopping
  • home screen sluggishness

These are all I can think of at the moment, has anyone else had these issues or can you offer any advice?
