Notsure T-Mobile UK vs Orange for Mobile Internet?

Hey, I know Orange & T-Mobile have merged but they cannot use each others 3G...

Now T-Mobile has almost the same 3G coverage as Three as they share base stations (and no I don't mean orange, THREE and t-Mobile share masts, they havent merged they just share masts).

But I think T-Mobile has slower speeds than Three... Can anyone on T-Mobile tell me what speeds on 3G are like?

Also on Orange I can get 1GB internet (for use on browsing, streaming, downloading, whatever I like). But T-Mobile give you 500MB Streaming & Downloading and UNLIMITED browsing and E-Mailing. (However some apps use a streaming connection so will eat into that 500MB).

What would you say is best? 500mb streaming and unlimited browsing or a flexible 1GB to use as you want to?

Finally what network would you choose overall, Orange or T-Mobile? and why?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Haven't you already asked this in another thread? Just comparing the carriers generally is pointless, You need to find out what the coverage is like where you live. Coverage is not the same in all areas.

If you want advise however, at least add your location...

I found Orange to have a better 3G network and T-Mobile to have a better 2G network... but I doubt you live next to me so it could be completely different wherever you are! (I'm talking real world usage, not coverage maps)

they will be able to do this soon, they are gradually rolling it out - i got announcement texts from orange recently.

id grab the best deal for now and wait it out for the full 3g coverage on either network
