Default App drawer losing order/arrangement?

I set up the app drawer how I want then I make sure I save. However, upon reboot, the app drawer will have pages 1/2 mixed together and some pages leave 2 empty spots. Suffice to say this completely mixes me up when trying to find an app. Any ideas on how to fix this, or the cause?

First thing to try is to clear cache and data for whichever launcher you are using.
Settings, applications, manage applications, all tab, tw launcher (or whatever one you're using), clear cache and data.

Doing this will reset all your homescreens so make a note of where everything is first.
