Default LCD display problem!

I am a new user of android. After rooting my phone recently, my phone has shown display issues. My previous firmware was a stock Asian firmware, can't remember what it is. When i rooted my phone, i flashed a xwkdd firmware to my phone. Now i am facing somewhat of an lcd issue whereby my camera takes extremely grainy photos, especially photos with different shades of black. The same goes for when i play videos on my phone, it cannot display black color properly, making the video grain and difficult to enjoy. Is this problem due to my firmware? I would like to ask for advice. thanks alot!!!

It could be. You might be trying to run the screen at a different framerate to what it was designed for. My advice would be to try another firmware, preferably an 'asian' one. What firmware are you currently on exactly?

Default phone info.

Model no: GT-I9100
Android Ver: 2.3.3
Baseband Ver: I9100CCKDH
Kernel Ver: 2.6.35.7-I900DXKH2-CL483911root@DELL138#2
Build no: GINGERBREAD.XWKDD

My phone is from Singapore so the original firmware should be the asian one (DXKI2).

Help me out cos i am really worried about sending it back for repair since i have already rooted my phone.

Thanks,

Are you sure you rooted as that looks like a stock kernel. The firmware/build number you have flashed is a downgrade to what was on in the first place which might be your problem.
I would recommend flashing a 2.3.6 firmware from here

Then root with the matching cfroot kernel from here

Default help.

Would it be better for me to revert back to stock first? I was thinking of getting my old DXKI2 firmware again. can you guide me on how to unroot my phone safely and get back my stock firmware? If it helps i used superoneclick to root my phone in the first place.
