Default Phone keeps losing everything since January

I've searched everywhere and I can't find anyone else with this problem. My phone seems to have a problem with retaining new data. Every couple of days it loses everything - text messages, apps, pictures, etc - anything that had been there since january 24, like it's gone back in time. It is NOT a factory reset - it's like it's recovering a backup or something. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
