Default Internet connectivity on rooted S2 with ICS

I am currently running IceCream Sandwich on my rooted Galaxy S2 but am having a problem where my phone wont connect to 3G and so I can only get internet when connected to the wireless at my house. I have not deactivated data network mode by accident and i've noticed after looking at another forum that advises you to check your Access Point Name settings that where it should come up with the name of my network, it doesn't say anything. How can I change the settings so I can get 3g connection back? I'm on orange network in the UK, and I also lost some of my apps like orange gestures which I really liked. Is there a rom or something I can install to get orange gestures back or an app I can download from somwhere. please help if you can, thank you for your time.

Sounds like your APN settings are missing. Google for, orange APN settings or search them in orange's site, they will have them on there.
Don't know about the gesture app as it was something your network provider added in which you lost when installing ICS.
