Default Backing up important files/contacts from gs2 while I have a loaner desire phone

I gotta give my samsung gs2 up for a couple weeks so it can be repaired at the samsung hq. There giving me a desire as a loaner, not bad not bad. I noticed that I only had contacts up to like I and was missing I-Z from my simcard import. I figure because I have over a few hundred social contacts that got added to the 100 or so actual phone contacts I have. The phone contacts A-Z are what I want to transfer from the gs2 to the desire, but trying to figure out all the unsync/google/contact options is too much, so I'm just now looking for the best way to back up all my contacts maybe online? or can I drag/drop them to my desktop? maybe so it doesn't matter if I can bring them over to the desire, I can manually add a phone # later as long as I have them all saved somewhere. The phone is obviously going to be wiped to factory reset when I get it back, and I'd like to just load and go with all my contacts/data etc;. I tried mybackup app but it needs the paid pro version to backup online. And kies, as if I can understand that, it seems so buggy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I got my gs2 back and have to figure out how to save my contacts minus the social contacts hopefully or all at once I don't care as long as their all there by tomorrow when I go get the loaner back. Thanks.

Sync your contacts with google then sync it back when you get the desire. Go to contacts and tap on menu to look for options.

I just imported them to one of my google accounts. After researching for like a few hours the other day and worrying about keis and back up app's, I'm not too sure why everyone worries about that stuff for backing up stuff when it was so simple. Lol, I guess for people who actually need to back up files from the phone like real tech' stuff? But not for me, I just wanted my contacts safe. Before I get my loaner phone, I'm going to unsync the google from the samsung just to be extra safe. I hope it doesn't mess with my contacts I just imported. They're on my google now, doesn't matter what I do with a phone they're on right?
