Default unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped

I dropped my phone while it was on my nightstand and the battery went out of it. I put it back in, and turned on my phone, but I get this message :

unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped

Almost no app work at all. My phone can no longer connect to wi-fi either.

Is there any way I can get my phone to work without having to erase all date on it again ? (I have done it 2-3 weeks ago and it pissed me off because I have a lot of important SMS's)

Please answer, and thank you !!

Default acore has stopped

I have had this problem and found that it was caused by BBC media player.
I uninstalled it and rebooted and the error message stopped.
I hope this helps.
